Thank you very much.  I have just received my diploma in Colour Therapy and want to say how much I have enjoyed both the Colour and the Crystal Healing courses I have just completed.

Hi There Julia,

 
A few days ago I received my Past Life Therapy Diploma through the post. It was a complete pleasure receiving it.  Just as it has been a wonderful pleasure doing the course with you.
 
This is my 2nd diploma with you. The 1st was a self study crystal healing course of which I obtained a B+ grade for.  And now you kindly gave me a Brilliant A grade in my Past Life Therapy. I am so pleased I can't tell you how happy I am.
 
These course's really have changed my life, I almost can't imagine not studying with SNHS!!
 
I am now starting to gather myself as a therapist and slowly I am starting to withdraw from my day job to take it on (at some point) full time. I have been lucky enough to meet new amazing people through having my new found knowledge and this is taking me forward on my path.
 
Well Again - Thank you for making this type of learning so easy and attainable for people like myself who have not got thousands in the bank!!
 
Rest assured I have already started my next course with you in Advanced Hypnotherapy and I will be looking forward to doing a Higher International Diploma also in the near future.

Dear Julia

I am writing to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed training in Hypnotherapy level one, Advanced Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling with the S.N.H.S.  I still have my final theory exam to do which I hope to complete this weekend.

This week I attended a days practical training with Tony Edwards.  Tony is a natural teacher and I count myself lucky to have found him.  The content was professionally delivered , well thought out and geared to give a student confidence.

When I arrived that morning I had no idea I was going to be a completely changed person by the end of the day.  I was to actually do a session of hypnosis on someone at the end of the afternoon and I found it a bit daunting.

As the day progressed I became more confident and competent, by the time I had to do the session, I felt more in command.   Tony taught me a technique that will carry me through in my new career.  I could not have done without him.

Dear Julia

Thank you very much - such excitement here again! with the results of my Indian Head Massage course. Just the Reflexology to finish off now then and will then incorporate these subjects into my practice. 
I've been really busy this year as well as doing the three courses.

 
Although I have Anatomy & Physiology knowledge I found the Hopi Ear Candling course refreshed my knowledge of the structure of the ear and the course itself was very comprehensive. I did enjoy learning the face massage and have expanded on that in the Indian Head, which I love, as it involves energy work.
 
I find that during a treatment, my clients faces smooth out within a short time, and look quite different once the energy is working through them.This never ceases to amaze me and makes me smile. What a wonderful job!

My partner and I did a charity event for the local Sue Ryder Hospice a couple of weekends ago giving Reiki tasters, and whilst it's really good fun, being on your feet for nine hours can be tiring. I have no idea how I used to manage when I was at work and putting in twelve and thirteen hour days when we did events. Plus you have the equipment to lug about and put up - I always think packing everything up is the worst bit and then you have to unload when you get back. We bought a gazebo especially for the event as it was outdoors near the river and although we'd never put one up before -  we managed OK and everyone who came to see us said how lovely and peaceful it was and called it the chill out zone, even though there were bands playing in the background.

This time last year I had just taken early retirement from an incredibly stressful job as Marketing Executive and Publicity Officer for a large further and higher education college, and was doing Reiki in my spare time.
 
It is so nice to be able to focus entirely on what I love doing and which benefits others as well, and you and your colleagues are helping me in my professional development, a very important aspect of this type of work. Thank you all for your encouragement and kind comments.

I look forward to receiving my diploma - that's exciting when it drops through the letterbox.

I recently attended Meridian Psychotherapy and Past Life Therapy Workshops with Tony Edwards. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience with Tony. Both
workshops were informative and well structured. I particularly enjoyed the Past Life Regression session as I was able to work with a volunteer and the

Hello Julia

I have just returned from a fantastic summer holiday and WOW!  What an excellent surprise to receive my Higher National Diploma in Nutrition - icing on the cake.

I found both the basic and advanced courses in nutrition hard going at times, juggling work, family and studies, but the hard work has paid off !!

All of the course material I received was well set out and easy to follow - thank you. 

I am interested in quite a number of your courses - kinesiology, iridology and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to name but a few, and I will be enrolling shortly.  I just have to decide which ones.

Many many thanks to you and your Self Study team for helping me complete my Aromatherapy Special Course package which covered Basic, Advanced and Higher International Diploma.

It gives me an immense sense of satisfaction and fulfilment to hear my Higher International Diploma results. I am very happy that the School has liked my dissertation for this project and complimented my work as of  a high standard and original in nature.
 
I have no words to thank you and your Self Study team which is 'really dedicated' and your whole school which is doing wonderful work for the world of natural health.
 
In today's climate people are very busy and have little time to go for regular classroom method of teaching . Your school is a boon.

I wish I could  have found your site earlier.

Let me tell you that I had earlier done one small course on Aromatherapy with practicals and was already practising .But I was not satisfied as I was looking for a more detailed course in aromatherapy for quite some time and went to many sites. But the moment I saw your site I knew it - it is the one - I was looking for so long - perfect in everything including pricing and accreditation.

As for my approval for including my Higher International Diploma project in your reading room, I shall be too glad for it.

Hello Julia,

I received my Stress Management diploma of which I am still very proud, thank you!

Recently, I was asked to give a talk to a group of 11 people.  I wrote it and presented it in a relaxed manner without the use of flip charts and projectors.  The email I received after the talk thanked me for presenting what could be a 'heavy subject' in a "down to earth, non stuffy approach"

I wish to pass on my thanks to you.  I had never written a 'talk' before and never in my life
have I been the centre of attraction for 11 strangers.  With the confidence I built upon receiving my diploma, has opened a new life for me. 

 
I aim to go in to practice as a 'Relaxologist' using my Stress Management qualifications.

Thank you.  I received my Diploma in the post 2 days ago.

I really enjoyed the course, most of the course work was revision for me as I am a qualified nurse and have already covered most of the topics as part of my degree. 
 
Therefore I wanted the qualification so I can prove my knowledge when devising menus for the elderly residents in my care home.  
 
I have enrolled on the Reflexology and Acupressure courses, both are topics that I am interested in and I just want to gain more insight.

Dear Julia

 
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write in experiences with the Reiki and NLP courses.
 
I heard about Reiki 12 years ago when I had a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage and a friend recommended it to help my headaches. At this time I could not find a practitioner and although I had not a lot of hope, I had another form of healing which to my surprise worked in only two sessions. I believe that we have the means within us to heal ourselves and now completing the course from SNHS in Reiki I am able to help others. I enjoyed the course and felt that it helped me as an individual to grow in many aspects. I learnt a very important lesson from the five precepts of Reiki and now I am able to stop and think of the phrase “Just for Today “.
 
I feel this has changed the way I probably would have reacted. As I was progressing through the course I found the meditation hard. I think we live in such a hectic whirlwind we often do not stop and think and relax. At the same time I have been completing another fascinating course with SNHS which is Neuro Linguistic Programming. The similarity of this course with Reiki is that as well as learning you can on completion use your skills, for self development and to create your own future. I found through NLP that I learnt primarily through auditory means so when I meditated I listened to monotonous Japanese gonging to focus my hearing.
 
This was amazing as I could now meditate more easily and then with help from Tony Edwards,  Course-writer and Workshop leader)  I learnt the Last Secret and attuned myself with his instructions.  I feel you must not think Reiki is something magical or mysterious. You should understand that you are just a receiver gaining the universal energy and transmitting it to help others.  I have found since my attunement that I can ask for guidance in Reiki and then something will happen to show me the way.
 
When I am healing with Reiki my instinct or the guidance as I scan takes me to the area where the client has a problem. I find the heat from my hands grow as I scan over the painful area. As Tony advised I use the Reiki to take my hands where they are needed and not just keeping to a strict pattern.
 
I found when I had attuned to the symbol Dai Ko Myo my abilities grew. As Tony had indicated in his lessons I experienced a very strong light coming into my crown like a flower opening its petals. I would recommend this course for self development, self treatment and to gain inner peace even if you do not practise healing on others.

I have noticed these days, we make telephone calls everyday to various offices, schools or banks, and  the person on the other end is always in a hurry to cut short the conversation, that too without providing the requisite service or information.

Dear Julia,

 
You are probably inundated with emails, but I just have to drop you a line to let you know that I am over the moon with my recent pass in the Reflexology course.
 
Because I live alone with my 10 year old daughter (on a limited budget!) I have never been able to attend an evening class at my local college due to having to find child care and the course fees.
 
Now that I have my Reflexology qualification I can get out there and do something for myself ... and, actually do something that I love doing.
 
I am going to be working partly as a mobile therapist and partly based at a therapy centre just around the corner from where I live. I put a small advert in my daughter's School Newsletter letting all the Mums know that I had qualified and was inundated with enquiries!
 
I'm looking forward to finishing the Indian Head Massage course next  :)

What wonderful news this was quite a hard course for me (Meridian Psychotherapy).  I can hardly believe it, a grade A, that is now five A's and one B+ in less than a year.

Hi Julia,

I just wanted to email you and say how much I enjoyed doing my first course with you in Nutrition and I wanted to say how helpful I find everyone at the School of Natural Health Sciences.

I rang last week as I wanted to take advantage of your May offer of 'buy one get one free' and the lady I spoke to was most helpful and explained to me the various ways I could benefit from this offer, which ultimately has now enabled me to take advantage of 'four courses' with yourselves, for the same price as the initial two. 

 
I found the foundation course in Nutrition very interesting and I am looking forward to doing these next four courses with yourselves.

Every lesson is set out so well and the fact that there is no deadline or pressure is of great benefit to me.

I have some comments about your school and the courses.
 
When I was looking for a 'home study' course on the Internet, I came across your bubbly, colourful and flowery site and my first thought was “this can’t be serious!”-  I forgot about it and went on searching.
 
Some days later, probably guided by higher spiritual forces, I ended up having that 'flowery site' on my screen again.

This time I decided to give it a chance and asked for some 'course samples' and I was really surprised about the high level of what I was reading. I decided to enrol and enjoyed every lesson being Nutrition and Herbalism, the subjects I loved the most.

The qualifications certainly enhance my career and I am very proud to have the beautiful Higher International Diploma hanging among the others on my wall.

Thank you so much for this fantastic news.  I have to confess to being apprehensive of doing a Self Study course, and one which I had very little knowledge at the start.

Wow another grade A, I really can't believe it, I'm so pleased and somewhat speechless. I have been really looking forward to doing my other course Professional Relaxation as I feel it would really blend well with the Crystal and Colour therapy course, and give a nice balance
in my treatments.

I just want to say that I have enjoyed every minute of this course.  In my everyday life I am a counsellor and work in a hospice.  I find that my counselling skills combined with Indian Head Massage have made a difference to my clients and there is nothing better than touch therapy to enable healing.

Hi Julia,
 
I'm now waiting for my exam results in Nutrition nerves are high!  This will be my fourth course and now I'm about to start my 5th course, Meridian Psychotherapy.
 
I have enjoyed every course and have had good pass grades to date. Once more I must thank you and your Self Study team.
 
I feel if I know all of them personally as we chat on the phones so many times and have had many a good laugh with them. I must say your team do you proud, very kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them.
 
Sadly after I have finished my 5th course I have to take some time out as I have been studying for 6 years now and a good long rest is needed. But will be back later in the year if I can live life without studying, if not may be back earlier - you never know.
 
In the last 6 years I have got 9 A levels, my IT teaching certificate, Health and Safety certificate, Infection Control certificate and Nutrition certificate, then there will be the 5 Diplomas from the SNHS, not bad for someone who left school with no exams.
 
'Your team' have given me the confidence to study different things. I thank them.

Dear Julia,
 
'I booked my one-to-one hypnotherapy training with Tony Edwards with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Was I going to meet a spooky, beetle-browed 'mad professor'? Would I be able to cut the mustard and hypnotise a real live person, as opposed to friends who were probably being kind to me?

All my fears were put to rest. Tony had sent me 'scripts' to prepare and turned out to be extremely professional, hugely enthusiastic and passionate about his subject, the benefits it could bring to the client and a jolly nice chap to boot.  The day was hard work - I was mentally spun washed, tumble-dried and hung out, but thanks to Tony and the delightful Julian, my guinea pig, a complete success (for me, anyway! )

I came away excited, invigorated and keen to learn more. The thorough approach Tony has to the training was evident when within three days a CD recording of the session arrived. I have already signed up for the Advanced course in Hypnotherapy and look forward to doing some real good for my clients. '

Many thanks for the delightful email from yourselves informing me of my pass in Indian Head Massage course.   Which has certainly cheered me up and made my day.  
 
It has been a good many years since my student days and I was very nervous and hesitant about starting this course.  I am so glad that I did. So much so, I will soon be making a start on the Indian Face Massage course that I already have, and have requested some 'sample pages' from the Hot Stone Therapy course which looks to be very interesting. 
 
My 'case study volunteers' have been very helpful and supportive (along with a few laughs) in my learning process and are quite happy to carry on working with me during my next courses with you. I cannot wait for my diploma to arrive.

Just wanted to let you know how very much I am enjoying my course with your school. I find the whole process very friendly and open and with such a lot of support. I wasn't that sure about my choice of course but trusted my intuitive side and I love it. There are no practitioners within a 200 mile radius where I live so I will have a market with little competition when I am ready.

When I have my diploma I will have to comply with New Zealand Law and be culturally safe to work with Maori who are the indigenous peoples in NZ and there are many protocols I will have to follow to be considered safe. As an example, Maori consider the head to be 'sacred' so permission would need to be obtained to touch the head etc. I've been working as a manager in the health sector ( a non clinical manager) so there will be many people who will be able to assist with 'cultural safety'.

Dear Julia,

I am just writing to say how much I am enjoying my courses on Nutrition and that I have to agree with everyone else in the Testimonial section of your Newsletters, that being a student with your school is very enjoyable and addictive.

It is also great value for money, with all of the great 'easy to read and easy to learn formats'. I know that you are all very kind and helpful and that you are always there on the other end of the phone if needed.

I enjoy reading all your Newsletters as they are very informative. The (Self-Study) team are great and I hope you will tell them that !

I was very pleased to get a grade A pass in the basic Nutrition course and hope I can do just as well with the advanced course.

When I have finished the Nutrition course, I am going to do the Anatomy and Physiology, followed by the Reflexology and Advanced Reflexology. I would then like to do Aromatherapy and Child Psychology. I would also like to do maybe the Counselling and Psychotherapy courses in the future.

So as you can see I will hopefully, be studying with your School for a long time to come in the future.

Hello Julia,

Just over 4 years ago I weighed thirteen and a half stone and suffered with severe arthritis. My doctor completely ignored my weight problem which developed because of my lack of mobility. I realised it was up to me to do something about it, so with the assistance of my daughter and a fitness coach, I took up the challenge.

I completely changed my diet and my approach to health. Although I was in constant pain with the arthritis I achieved my goal, and my weight dropped to nine and a half stone. I decided that I wanted to help others who have weight issues.

Last year I qualified as a Slimming Consultant, that was just the beginning. I then decided I needed to learn more, and late last year enrolled with your college to study Nutrition.

This was the best move I could make, and found it a real challenge. I passed my final exam and received a Grade A pass and received my Diploma for which I was absolutely thrilled about. I am now studying Advanced Nutrition and shortly will be enrolling for several other courses with your school.

Many thanks for all your help and the support you have shown in guiding me towards my aim of helping others just like myself.

Hello Julia and many thanks for your email.

To say I am delighted with this  result is an understatement! I am over the moon to have been awarded not only a pass but a Grade A. It is a brilliant early Christmas present. I now have qualifications in Crystal Healing, Colour Therapy and Herbalism and am part way through my studies in Flower Remedies, Indian Face Massage and Aromatherapy, as well as waiting for my final exam result for Indian Head Massage.

That sounds like a lot to take on, but I would say to anyone who is considering applying to the school to "go for it". I have been able to do my full time job, run my home etc and still have time to study. That's really due to the flexibility of these courses and the fact that it's up to the student how long it takes to complete them. There are no time pressures and busy people appreciate that!

I have not studied formally in over 20 years, but the coursework is well laid out, clear and easy to follow. There is a genuine desire at the school and amongst its people to want students to get the best out of their courses, there are no trick questions, the school just genuinely wants students to do well.

I am so glad I found the School of Natural Health Sciences!

Hello Julia,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding my Reflexology course, I was very pleased to have passed with a A grade and I really enjoyed the course.

I have, as you say, just started the Acupressure course which I felt would compliment that - and it is proving fascinating. I expect I shall do the Advanced Reflexology too when time allows.

It has always been my intention to have as much knowledge as possible of various 'holistic treatments' to enable me to 'give my clients' as much choice in their treatment as I can, and also because I think it makes for a more rounded therapist (so to speak!)

Hello School of Natural Health Sciences,

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this course in Diabetic Risk Assessment!

It may well be the most important course I ever take - both personally and professionally. To the best of my knowledge, no other Nutrition school pays this much attention to diabetes or offers an entire course on it.

I plan to propose to the school I attend here in Ottawa, Canada, that they look into it, or at least devote more time to it in their curriculum.

I love your position - because it is the responsibility of all 'health care' providers/therapists, to be able to identify the warning signs of Diabetes.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for bringing this valuable, life-saving information to my attention.
